Woy Magazine is an official media partner for Haiti Cultural Exchange’s Third Biennial Haitian Film Fest that will be taken place May 8-15th in venues throughout New York City. Haiti Film Fest’s opening night will be taking place on Thursday May 7, 2015 at Drom NYC, hosted by Chokarella’s Carel Pedre. Opening night will also feature the short films Freedom by Matthew Brown and La Veuve by Wood-Jerry Gabriel, with performances by Sanba Zao of Lakou Mizik and Ioan Delice, New York’s newest and hottest underground rap artist.
